Three different Robux-to-USD numbers

01

DevEx cash value

What Earned Robux turns into when you cash out. This is the number the calculator above shows, and the only one Roblox sets a published rate for.

02

Store price

What Roblox charges to buy Robux in its store. It changes by package size and region, and Roblox does not publish a single per-Robux price, so this page does not invent one.

03

In-game price

What your game charges for a pass or developer product in Robux. That is your pricing decision; the platform commission is taken from the sale, not from the cash-out.

What happens before Robux reaches DevEx

DevEx converts Earned Robux only, meaning Robux left after Roblox takes its platform commission on a sale. Bought, gifted, traded, and already-exchanged Robux never becomes Earned Robux.

  • Avatar item sold in the Marketplace at the price floor: the creator share is 30%, and Roblox holds that Robux in escrow for 30 days.
  • The same item sold inside a game: creator 30%, game owner 40%, Roblox the remainder.
  • Higher-priced Marketplace items earn a progressive creator share, so a sale far above the price floor returns more than 30%.

Where these numbers come from

Rates and the cash-out minimum are copied from Roblox's own documentation, checked on 2026-10-22. Roblox can change them, so re-check the source before you plan a payout around the result.

Common questions

Robux to USD questions

How much is 1 Robux in USD?+

At the standard DevEx rate one Earned Robux cashes out for $0.0038, so 30,000 Earned Robux comes to $114. Robux you bought or were given are not Earned Robux and have no cash value.

How much is 100,000 Robux in USD?+

$380 at the standard rate. If the U.S. 18+ rate applies to your balance, the same 100,000 Robux comes to $540.

How much is 1 million Robux in USD?+

$3,800 at $0.0038 per Robux, or $5,400 at $0.0054. Both are gross amounts, before tax.

Why do other calculators still say 0.0035?+

0.0035 was the standard rate before 2025-09-05 10:00 PT. Only Earned Robux from before that cut-off still cashes out at 0.0035; anything earned afterwards is converted at 0.0038.

Can I cash out any Robux balance?+

No. A cash-out request needs at least 30,000 Earned Robux, and only Robux from sales of your own content counts — not Robux from purchases, gifts, gift cards, trades, or the monthly Robux from a Roblox subscription.

Is the 0.0054 rate available to everyone?+

No. It applies to eligible Earned Robux from developer products, passes, subscriptions, and private servers bought by U.S. players who verified they are at least 18 through age estimation or government ID.

Does this include tax?+

No. The calculator returns the gross DevEx value. Payouts are taxable income in most countries, and Roblox requires a W-9 or W-8 before it releases a cash-out.

How do I actually cash out?+

In Creator Hub go to Finances and choose Cash Out, then fill in the DevEx form with your legal name. You need a verified email, a DevEx portal account, and 30,000 Earned Robux in the account.
